we broke up over a misunderstanding, he figured out the mistake right away and called nonstop, but i refused to speak/see him. i moved to vancouver, and he was going to move here too for school in a month. i texted him, ';when you get here we should talk. i want to make peace.'; then he asked if he could call me, and he explained the whole thing and apologized profusely. i felt pretty stupid. we laughed and got back together. it was dumb.What made you go back to your ex boyfriend/girlfriend?
Stupidity.


We broke up because we wanted different things (me=marriage, kids, house in city .... him = no marriage, no kids, house in country), so it was fairly amicable. I ran into him a few months later and the attraction was still there. So, we got back together for a short period of time.


Its tough to break up with someone and get over them. You tend to romanticize them - don't remember their faults and only remember the sweet things. Of course, being by yourself and possibly lonely also pushes you to go back.
