How long did it take to get back with your ex?

What did you, or they have to do to get back together. Has it worked out?How long did it take to get back with your ex?
My ex husband wanted a divorce to be with another, I gave him his divorce in March of 06 by August of 06 he was on my door begging for another chance. Since taking him back we have had a lot of up and downs to include splitting up and working on our friendship first, at this point a little over a year since the divorce, things are getting along nicely, I think the biggest thing is both parties have to want it to work bad enough to get through all the BS that is going to come with trying to get back together and both have to be willing to learn to communicate as friends first other wise the lover part will never truly happen,How long did it take to get back with your ex?
it took 9 months, she persisted with it, and yes its working out so far

Why would you want to get back with your ex? Once the relatioship is over --- move on. Move ahead -- don't look back.

One thing is that, i dont see anything absolutly bad in getting back with an Ex. , most of us (guys and ladies) dont really apprecaite our love until we break up, get messed up by another person, its then we begin to realise how stupid we ahve been to av left out first love
It can take a while if that's what you both truly want, but then you would have to figure out why you separated in the first place otherwise you are doomed.
